AWAKENING LOVE, RECOVERING CONNECTION
Pilot Workshop for a Constellation Guided Learning in Sedona
On Friday, December 18 (6 pm-9 pm); Saturday, December 19 (10 am-6 pm); and Sunday, December 20 (10 am-6 pm), Suzi Tucker will present the first of a series of Family Constellation opportunities in Sedona, Arizona. Just in time for the holidays – whether gathering with family members or facing another celebration without family -- workshop participants will experience first-hand the Family Constellation work pioneered by Bert Hellinger.
Imagine … A man, a skilled and highly intelligent psychiatrist, wondered why he always had such a hard time speaking up for himself. He described: "I have always felt as though I needed to stay under the radar, keep my accomplishments hidden. It is very painful not to be acknowledged and yet I continue to do nothing to allow myself to be seen. Now I watch as my son hides himself, his intelligence and his talents, both in school and with his friends. I know this is the lesson I have taught him." After a while, the question came to me: "Where were your Grandparents from?" He replied that they were Jews from Poland, Austria, and Germany, and that all had just barely escaped capture during WWII. My next question was clear: "What would have happened if any one of them had been 'above the radar,' had come out of hiding?" Within a minute, tears welled up in his eyes and he understood everything. His healing sentence was very simple, but life-altering: "Because you hid, I do not have to. I will come out of hiding in honor of you.”
This type of shift in understanding can be life-altering. As people begin to open their hearts and minds to all that is behind them, to all that they were born of, they gain new insight into the roots of their problems – and a new vision of authentic sources of solution. In this workshop, we will look at some of the ways we are blindly connected to the systemic events in our family or community of fate. Once these connections are brought into the light, we can be freer to live in present time without the veil of the past obscuring our view.
In addition to setting up personal constellations, we will touch on a variety of lecture topics, including: Principles and Practice of Family Constellation Work • Guilt and Innocence in the Family • Systemic Trance
• When the Past Is Present • Conscience and Bonding • Levels of Feeling – Levels of Helping • The Morphogenetic Field and the Spirit-Mind • The Weight of Words • Couples Work, One-on-One Work, Self-Care • Stepping Into Facilitating Constellations.
No previous experience is necessary to join this workshop and the broad range of professional background is welcome. The beauty of Sedona’s landscape befits the beauty of the Constellation approach – open, richly textured, transformative.
